Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri in New Zealand, 2010 |
|

We are very pleased to announce that Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri Ji has agreed to visit New Zealand in October and we will be holding two spiritual events with him. He is one of the senior disciples of Amma and has written many books on spirituality. He will be giving talks on “Developing wisdom to handle day to day problems” and will also be conducting a special puja for “Peace and Prosperity”. Kindly refer the poster for the dates and venue.
We request all to make use of this opportunity to meet and hear Swamiji in person and attend the talks and pooja performed by him. The talks and entry to both events is free. You can also take part in the personalised Puja, with a very nominal charge of $11 (we request you to kindly pay by cash on the day). The money collected will be used for Amma’s humanitarian activities. Please register for the Puja by emailing at

Amma's 57th Birthday Celebration on 27th September 2010 |
|
Mata Amritanandamayi Satsang Group Inc. is glad to invite you, your family and friends to join us in celebrating Amma's 57th Birthday on 27 September 2010. This is the perfect day to show our love and reverence to Amma. The birthday will be celebrated at 34 Oakdale Road, Hillsborough, Auckland, starting at 7.00 pm. All are welcome!
Let us all put our hands together in making this event memorable and successful. Download the poster from here.
"There are two important days in our life. The first is the day we are born. The second is the day we realise why we were born. But for many people this second day never comes. They live mechanically from the day they are born to the day they die. We will only be able to appreciate the beauty and magnitude of life when we realise its true purpose. Today, we are squandering our precious powers of thinking and discrimination on insignificant and impermanent things. Once we become caught in this cycle, it is very difficult to get out." - AMMA, 27 September 2009 |
